WRITING AN INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH
Write a paragraph that introduces the topic: The race to the White House for President. Before writing think about: What is a race to the White House? How often is an election held? What is popular vote? How do popular votes turn into electoral votes? How would you introduce the candidates in your writing? Writing Body Paragraph
Write a paragraph on each candidate using the facts from the T-Chart activity and Election Time Activity. Within the paragraphs already written add a definition to a word you do not know. Withing the paragraphs already written add a connecting "quote" of the candidate. Writing a conclusion paragraph
Write a paragraph that sums up the topic Race to the White House.
